PHILADELPHIA, Miss. — An officer from the Philadelphia Police Departement was killed Saturday when her patrol car hit a light pole.
ODMP reported Officer Leann Simpson, 23, was en route to assist with a traffic stop when her car collided with a light pole and rolled several times. She died of the injuries she sustained in the crash.
Simpson was an Army veteran who had been with the Philadelphia PD for a little over one year.
