Shortly before 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Kahoka, MO, Police Officer Ryan Orr received help from a local citizen in the apprehension of a suspect, reports KHQA .
Orr was assaulted by the unnamed suspect who then attempted to flee arrest. A citizen saw the incident and was able to catch the suspect to keep him from escaping. Orr was then able to handcuff the suspect.
In a release, Police Chief Bill Conger said the department “would like to publicly thank this Good Samaritan for his assistance in the apprehension of this suspect.”
The suspect was arrested on drug charges.
