A jury has found former Mesa, AZ, police officer Philip Brailsford not guilty of second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of a man at a Mesa hotel in 2016, reports KPNX-TV .
Officers had been called to the scene after reports of a man pointing a rifle out a window. According to witnesses, Daniel Shaver had a pellet gun he used for his extermination business.
